How to spawn modification station fragments? ›

Modification Station fragments are found in wreck5, which is northwest of the norther island at camera world position 701 -331 1223. I think the fragments are spawned at random wrecks at the start of new games...

The Vehicle Upgrade Console is a Seabase module that allows the player to upgrade and customize the Seamoth and Prawn Suit. It is constructed with the Habitat Builder and can only be constructed inside a Moonpool. In order for the player to build it, its blueprint must be retrieved from a Data Box.

Easiest place to find fragments is on the ground in the Mushroom Forest. But you can also find fragments at many of the large wrecks in the outer biomes. You can't build it in the moonpool, you need to build a mobile vehicle bay to build either Seamoth or Prawn or Cyclops.

What's defined as a car modification? In general, any vehicle enhancement not made at the factory is considered a modification and requires custom vehicle insurance. Common modified or custom elements include: Aesthetic modifications such as chrome bumpers, special lights, custom paint jobs, and new stereo systems.

MVB fragments are in wreck 1 (bloodgrass biome to the left of the Aurora) and wreck 2 (western bloodgrass biome - tall U-shaped wreck standing vertical). Life pod 17 signal will lead you to a wreck in the grassy plateaus with at least 3 fragments inside the open crates outside the wreck.

It can be added by placing the module in the upgrade panel, located on the left side of the Seamoth. It can be fabricated in the Vehicle Upgrade Console's fabricator. It can also be obtained from the Seamoth Bay in the Aurora.

To unlock the Moonpool Blueprint, the player must scan two of its Fragments. These can be found in Wrecks or the Mushroom Forest. The Seabase that the Moonpool is attached to must have power (except in Creative Mode) in order to dock vehicles. It can, however, release vehicles without power.

Yep, the Cyclops is slower. It might "feel" faster, because of its size. I prefer the Seamoth for travelling large distances unless I really need my mobile base. Not having to constantly watch your surroundings to avoid damage to the Cyclops makes traveling with the Seamoth even faster and more convenient.

Samoth fragments spawn around pod 17, if unlucky, stick to seaglide untill you can acces seamoth bay inside Aurora. Finding the third seamoth fragment was the hardest thing for me as well, but all three should be in the same area where the red plants are.

What happens if a Seamoth is destroyed? ›

Once destroyed, Upgrades and Customization will be lost, along with any cargo. The broken seamoth pieces cannot be scanned, though they do possess collision.
