The service is crappy. I've been trying to renew my service for two days since they ended my plan 10 days early than what I am paid for. They either can't or won't allow me to get service. Don't bother with them!

It's a cheap phone with cheap service. Recommend Never purchase the warranty because they never keep on their end of the deal for them. Just another way for them to get money and make excuses for the poor attitudes and service. Won't recommend to anyone unless they need a throw away phone for a week.

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!! They will charge you, put you back on auto-pay without your permission and then not honor the next month's service. Then they will tell you they will NOT refund your money and yet your service still ends. DO NOT buy a month over the phone, if you do. Purchase at Walmart or somewhere where they can't get your banking information.

I am extremely disappointed with Straight Talk. I have been a customer for 10 years and I am on acp at the moment. I have had to repay my monthly bill because every month because they have made a mistake so basically they are getting paid 2 times for the same thing. I would never recommend them!!!

Switched from Verizon to Straighttalk to save money. Since straight talk I have spent 4 days and over 11 hours trying to get my phone fixed and they can't seem to fix it. Switching back to Verizon, straighttalk is a joke!!!

I ordered a phone and it’s taking forever to ship to me and whenever I call I get a different answer to where it’s at or when it’s being shipped and they refuse to refund me and cancel my order. I’ve been told that it’s being shipped immediately, to it waiting for picked, to it being waiting for ups pick up, no real answer. Just keep getting told to wait 2-3 business days.

I have been with Straight Talk for over 15yr and never had any problems with service or payments. Until recently. I brought my mother over to straight talk in hopes she would have better coverage. She only talks & texts so internet data isn't a factor for her. But good luck getting auto-refill setup for the correct charges! They actually told me, AND I QUOTE: "you will know the final charges when the card on file gets charged". I have her on the $35 unlimited plan (which I wanted to keep) and it states the charges would be $72.14 for a $35 plan. Customer service is useless & incompetent in troubleshooting this error, I told them NO WAY do I authorize that charge and they laugh as a response! I am now looking into other phone carriers because CLEARLY straight talk cannot get with the program and display the professional demeanor that is required as a company.
If you want unauthorized charges as well as shotty customer service representatives helping you, then straight talk is the service for you! I personally prefer speaking to competent & professional individuals. This bait & switch game of theirs is illegal and needs to come to an end!! A company that offers auto refill with a discount and is wanting to charge MORE THAN DOUBLE without my consent or authorization is illegal and extremely poor business practice.

I have been a Straight Talk customer for years, without many issues, until now. My phone was acting up last week and I called customer service to be told I had to get a new sim card since AT&T sim cards would no longer be supported, it has to be Verizon. They sent me a new sim card, no charge to me, I just received it. I called to activate the new sim card to be told that my phone, a Galaxy Note 10+, would no longer be supported and I would have to purchase a new phone to continue utilizing their service. My phone works great, I have no issues with it, I certainly don't have the money to go purchase a new phone and I find it really unprofessional and shady to do this to people. I will no longer recommend their service to anyone and clearly, I am no longer a customer.

Terrible customer service. Irene is a terrible rep and so is everyone else. They will lie and say they can't transfer you to a different department or say they don't have supervisors. Switching because it's a complete and total waste of time and money dealing with these clowns. They ask you all these questions but if you need to reset your pin or email. You can't. There is no option whatsoever so get assistance with account recovery. This entire network is a joke. Better off sending smoke signals or talking to a brick wall than dealing with this company or Tracphone. Just a mess.

I ordered a phone from the Straightalk website 11/30/23. It arrived broken. I called Customer support and was told I had to pay to send it back, they do not provide return labels. You should have seen my face... $13 postage UPS. Of course I found out later they do provide those, it just depends on who you're talking to. 2X MULTIPLE chats, phone calls, reference numbers, wait periods and promises, and 4 MONTHS later on 4/1/24 I finally got my refund. Not the $13 UPS but at least the purchase cost.
You just can't make this stuff up, it was the biggest load of TomF***ery I have ever seen in my entire 65 years on this earth. I became the joke of my household trying to get my money back. Amazon, Walmart and Temu are the 8th wonder of the world compared to these people. The most miserable experience EVER. And forget talking to anybody with any authority, there is no contact information anywhere to get in touch with someone who can straighten things out. Funny thing is I have been a Tracfone customer for many years and always been so pleased with them; and they are owned by the same people!!! Sherry
