Jeanne Fry is a board-certified general practitioner with a strong foundation in both surgical training and general practice. She graduated from Melbourne University in 2009, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci). Jeanne began her medical career as a junior doctor in local hospitals before heading to regional Victoria to pursue surgical training.

While in regional Victoria, Jeanne gained experience working in rural emergency departments, which fueled her interest in pediatric health. She pursued a Diploma in Child Health, honing her expertise in caring for young patients. Following her time in emergency medicine, Jeanne returned to Melbourne to complete her GP training. She now focuses on a broad range of health issues, including chronic and complex conditions, geriatric health, men’s health, and minor surgical procedures.

Jeanne’s approach to healthcare is evidence-based, ensuring that patients receive the most accurate and up-to-date medical advice.

Education
Jeanne Fry earned her medical degree (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) from Melbourne University. She later pursued surgical training in regional Victoria and obtained a Diploma in Child Health, further expanding her knowledge in pediatric care. She completed her GP training in Melbourne, where she currently practices as part of the Doctors of South Melbourne team.
